The DCPS Arts Team welcomes all families* to join us for a day of creative play alongside DC’s amazing artists, educators, and arts organizations at Union Market’s Dock 5 on Saturday, January 14th!

Experience hands-on interactive workshops and collaborative making stations in the visual arts, theater, dance, and music, featuring:

• DC Youth Orchestra’s Instrument Petting Zoo
• Make Your Own Shadow Puppets with Natasha Mirny and Lauren Bomba (Maury Elementary)
• Intergenerational dance workshops with Step Afrika!
• Drum Circle Storytelling led by Sylvia Zwi (Oyster Adams Elementary / Sitar Arts Center)
• Shakespeare Theatre Company’s “A Mini-Summer Night’s Dream”
• Collaborative Art-making and 3D Printing with the School Without Walls STEAM Team
• Improv Workshops led by the Washington Improv Theatre
• Wearable Art and Design with Trashion Fashion
• Screenprinting at the DCPS Print Shop
